Their Mission is improving the quality of life of poor families in Honduras that God calls us to serve by meeting basic needs, educating, discipling, and developing them to provide for themselves and others.

Honduras Ministries believes that human hearts need to be transformed by the teachings of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which will lead to improved communities and living conditions for all.
he primary vehicle for serving these communities is a Child Enrichment Program that provides:

•     Instruction in nutrition, hygiene and life skills
•     Monthly food supplements for each family in the program
•     Quarterly medical / dental check ups
•     Instruction and counseling for parents in family life skills

By doing these things, we intend to reduce the starvation, death from disease and other evils (such as human trafficking) that are part of daily existence in these regions.

HERO Makers is a ministry dedicated to serving children at risk, the people who care for them daily, and the short-term missionaries who come alongside to help.  It is a 501(c)3 tax exempt charitable organization.
HERO Makers is an independent non-denominational organization, and is connected with a number of participating churches and many individuals from around the U.S. and Canada.  
They offer short-term mission trips that spend a week in the Mexican countryside just minutes south of the Texas border. They work with ministries which provide homes for orphans and children at risk.
HERO Makers work on construction projects, prepare meals for the children and engage in fun time with the kids and their caregivers.
